Do you have any questions regarding the software? Do you have any tips and tricks others might find useful? Are there any custom brush presets, bundles, palettes, etc., which you would like to share? This is the Krita bootcamp. Where we train new /oc/ soldiers. You don't need to install any libraries. >What is Krita appeal? how is it superior to other painting software? I've used photohop for three years. Then I found RMS and went full freedum. Honestly, Krita is a better drawing tool than photoshop ever was. The only advantage of photoshop was, that it was an all in one package, which had superior filters. But for painting Krita > Photoshop. Kritas brush engine is batshit crazy. You can basically create every brush you could ever imagine. It's also actually catered to artists and has nice animation capabilities (uses ffmpeg for that). That only works if youre using a brush that isn't too small. But if you're used to drawing in pencil, then having a three pixel wide eraser is pretty annoying. >Could you make more? In particular on brushes and on workflows for making animations/gifs. I was planing on doing that next. (But be warned that my keyboard shortcuts are pretty funky. Transform is on for example.)
