Donation Address Owner From Bisq Wiki Jump to navigation Jump to search The Donation Address Owner (sometimes referred to as the "burning man") is a now retired Bisq role. The Donation address owner controlled the BTC address where BTC trade fees and funds from time-locked payout transactions where sent. The Donation Address Owner role was replaced by the new Burning Men Protocol that went live in January 2023. As a result of this change the Donation Address Owner is now largely redundant. Rarely bitcoin from trade fees and some delayed payout transactions will go to the donation address owner, these are the result of edge cases and, therefore, the donation address role has now been retired from Bisq.
