I admit that it's old as fuck, that I learned about it while googling shit about fagout, and that I needed a good deal of help from wikis. But holy fuck I've never had so much fun playing a single-player game in all my life. The minimal graphics plus the text-based descriptions made the game feel so much like a tabletop RPG to me that I couldn't help imagining dialog and fleshed-out character interactions in my head. And the re-release from InXile pairs that up with some really cool background music and /comfy/ paragraph readings, which was neat as well even though I preferred the animated portraits from the original.
