Enjoy your time outside. I love camping but I fucking despise Yuru Camp. They're nothing but gearfags. Only working so they can get the newest and shiniest gear. With the brands and locations almost indistinguishable from their real counterparts, it all feels like one big commercial. They're also just tourists going from one tourist attraction to the other. And imagine PAYING for the privilege of sleeping outside. After all it's not legal to camp in the woods in Japan. Camping without nature is garbage. But yes, they pay like 15-20 usd just to camp like tourists and stay in cell coverage. Japan is just too small and overpopulated to actually experience nature. Where I'm going is a backcountry trail through a wilderness area of low mountains and fresh spring water. Maybe bigfoots. I'm going dark now, see you nanons sometime next week. Bye-nee! No, I got to the trailhead late and slept in my car the 1st night. 2nd and 4th night I camped at a comfy site maybe 5 miles downhill from the trailhead that was sheltered by tall pine trees and had a fire ring. 3rd night I camped maybe 5 miles further down the trail by a rocky creek with perfect clear spring water. >What did you eat? Oatmeal and hot cocoa for breakfast, chicken chili with beans, macaroni and cheese, a whole lb of peanuts, shin ramen, freeze dried corn, and lots of beef jerky. Also I had wild onions because a lot of them grow in grassy spots along the trail and they taste good with anything.
