/g/ - Technology Nanonymity = Anonymity + Privacy + Security [Make a Post] /AICG/ I guess... Ai Chatbots guides or something (?) Nanonymous 2024-02-22 07:55:26 No. 62946 [D] [S] [L] [A] [C] Nanons, I haven't been on the AI hype until recently and, doing some research and tests here and there with chatbots, I realized I don't get where the, supposedly, "good stuff" is at. I'm not paying to openAI for their upgraded version of gpt-3.5 and, trying my best, I couldn't find a way to get access to the upgraded version, which I'm interested in testing. Am I missing something? Can any of you nanons provide a guide on AI chatbots? Also, general AI Chabots thread. Nanonymous 2024-02-22 21:18:45 No. 62949 [D] Gab.ai became a thing recently. They have lots of historical/political characters and several image generators. Most of their bots struggle to stay in character and some get stuck in loops. It used to be open access but now they want you to register to use the service and even subscribe to get full use of it. Torba claims he doesn't have enough computer so the subscription is to pay for more GPU. Potentially a good service when it gets developed a bit more. Certainly better than the big tech AI which are hard-coded to promote globohomo narratives. Nanonymous 2024-02-24 13:53:52 No. 62950 [D] I've noticed that some programmers will outsource their brains to the AI chatbots, to the extent that they no longer understand the problems they are trying to solve, and instead rely on Chat GPT. I've also noticed that Microsoft's CoPilot violated a huge number of open source project's licenses to source training data. Maybe they outsourced the lawyer's brains too?
