sieve's storage 5yara 6veaa 7vxak [ posts ] [ 7ache ] [ sieve ] The long-suffering Lazu had forever endured the atrocities of the Crown, but as the rebellions formed and challenged the order, he was not spared from the paranoid wrath of the High Queen. What crimes had he been accused of ? Lazu could not remember as the thunderous ritual punishment transported cast him down to the land of Otemanediate, the land of the Evil Wind. However, Lazu was not appalled. This new world he now found himself, while scant and hostile, could be only as bad as his previous life. Yes, Lazu was quite resourceful in his survival! In no time he had set camp on a gray, gravelly shoreline. Once a bit deeper in the mainland, he set alight a great tree to give himself a landmark in those deplete and colorless woods. The ugly and miserable nature of this world never made Lazu any less fond of it. In fact, he begun to cultivate the idea that this lonely world was somehow sacred. Lazu promised he would never again change the land's appearance by striking the earth or pulling away its fruits. His only exception would be his camp. Lazu now would continue his activities underground. Wandering through caves he found the remains of ancient cities, ruins immersed in darkness, Lazu had to take every step ahead of him with the utmost attention, he knew how likely the dark abysses were to be his grave. The immense structures he found in those ruins never impressed Lazu, but he would often hear intimidating screeches coming from the corners of caves... He wondered what could be making such noise and, carefully, went closer to its source, the faint light of his torch was not enough to give him the courage to approach the creature he was about to see any more; he stood still for a second, waiting for it to screech again; but instead the beast took the chance to leap towards him and attach itself to his body, Lazu had only a second to see its cold black eyes protruding from the white hairs that covered the attacker entirely before he felt the its eight powerful limbs all holding him and sharp fangs digging his skin and unleashing that vile venom! Never before had Lazu felt such pain. Terrified for his life, he scuttled back to his camp. Lazu no longer felt the pain when he emerged from the cave's entrance, he put down the treasures he obtained from spelunking and noticed that his tree was no longer burning. The ashes of the tree, opposing all other tones of that forest, were now the towering proof of what Lazu had done. Feeling sorry for what he had done, he decided to construct a temple from the remains of the tree, and there worship and make offerings to Otemanediate for giving him a new life. Only this -- he thought -- would redeem him from his one offense against the land. He took some ash to the shore and began sculpting. Lazu would continue to thrive in this new world. Whatever goods he found in the ruins would become assets to his temple. The forest bore fruit, the ruins had crops; on the space where once a tree had lived Lazu began to build his home. His hubris had taken the best from him. He captured some of the white spiders that had threatened his life and threw them inside his house from above the wall, the roof had not been finished. He fell in. Now, in the same place the tree had been burned by him, Lazu faced the creatures that would certainly bring his death: wrathfully, they leaped at him, clamping him with their legs, fangs pumping his veins with lethal venom. Mere seconds later... Bones Placed. The fate of Otemanediate may still be accompanied by those who know the name of the beasts that ended Lazu's quest.
